Police: 11 Visits Made to Celeste Rivas’s Home Before Her Body Was Found
New details have emerged in the heartbreaking case involving Celeste Rivas Hernandez, a teenage girl whose body was discovered in the front trunk (“frunk”) of a Tesla owned by pop singer d4vd. Authorities now confirm that law enforcement had responded 11 separate times at Celeste’s home in Lake Elsinore, California, between February 2024 and April 2025 — months before the grim discovery.
Home Visits That Raised Red Flags
Of the 11 visits, many were logged as minor crimes or suspicious circumstances. At least four led to formal police reports, and some warranted follow-up investigations. On one day alone March 19, 2024 officers visited the home twice, and a third call was made to a nearby store on the same block.
These visits happened long before Celeste was reported missing, suggesting authorities had multiple windows to act but perhaps didn’t connect all the dots.
Discovery of Her Body in d4vd’s Tesla
On September 8, 2025, Celeste’s remains were found in a severely decomposed state inside the frunk of a Tesla registered to d4vd (real name David Anthony Burke). The car had been impounded and left in Hollywood Hills. Detectives believe the vehicle sat parked for weeks before the body was discovered.
Still, the cause of death remains undetermined, and no charges have been filed against d4vd, who has reportedly cooperated with investigators.
What This Reveals About Missed Intervention
The fact that police had visited her home so many times before her death fuels sharp questions: Why weren’t stronger measures taken? Could any of those visits have prevented her tragic end?
A private investigator also questioned the case’s direction, speculating that signs of neglect, concealment, or tampering might point to more than mere oversight.
In the meantime, Celeste’s body was released to her family, and a funeral has been planned for early October as her community seeks answers.
Reflections: Justice, Accountability & Silence
-
Multiple calls, little result: Eleven visits suggest warnings were there. But how many warnings go unheard?
-
Questions without answers: Cause of death remains “undetermined,” and the trail is murky.
-
The victims’ story matters: It’s not just a crime headline — Celeste was a young life, someone’s daughter.
-
Truth takes time, demands pressure: Public scrutiny continues to matter, especially in cases where silence covers cracks.
