When they shot the infamous pool
scene, Curry says the cast was freezing. The frigid water turned into a real challenge: Susan Sarandon actually contracted pneumonia on set. She later “wore it as a badge of honor,” telling anyone who would listen. 

Though rumors swirled about a fire caused by heaters used to warm cast members, Curry says he doesn’t remember that happening — though he’s seen “fire follow him from movie to movie.”
