Breaking Bads Raymond Cruz Arrested After Water Hose Dispute Court Date Set No Formal Charges Yet

Breaking: Raymond Cruz Arrested in Water Dispute

Los Angeles, September 8, 2025Breaking Bad star Raymond Cruz was arrested yesterday on suspicion of misdemeanor battery after a disagreement over parking led to him allegedly accidentally spraying a group of women with a water hose while washing his car outside his LA home.

What Went Down?

According to LAPD Officer David Cuellar, tensions flared around 10:40 a.m. when Cruz’s car-washing routine was interrupted. A white minivan carrying three women pulled up so close reportedly just half an inch from Cruz’s bumper that he feared getting wet. When he asked them to move and they declined, he continued washing his car.

As Cruz turned to ask them to stop filming, still holding the hose, water sprayed onto their vehicle. One of the women called the police, leading to Cruz’s arrest.

Office Drama or Misunderstanding? Agent Speaks Up

Ray Cruz’s agent, Raphael Berko, described the accusation as “outrageous” and emphasized it wasn’t intentional. Cruz has never been arrested in his life, Berko noted, and he’s always respected law enforcement and even played a detective for 15 years on The Closer and Major Crimes

Even during his roughly five-hour detainment, Cruz reportedly received respectful treatment from LAPD officers.

Legal Status: Released, No Charges Filed—Yet

Cruz was released on his own recognizance later that day. At this point, no formal misdemeanor charges have been filed. However, he’s expected in court on October 1, 2025

In minor battery cases like this, prosecutors often consider alternative resolutions, such as holding an office hearing or offering a diversion program rather than pursuing full prosecution.
